Oh man this is funny.  I didn’t know that garters were called suspenders.  Also, I didn’t know what the fuck “braces” were for the longest time until I realized people meant “suspenders.” Braces go on teeth here in America. 

wow yeah i said  once that my sister has braces and so shes ashamed of her smile and this girl from london just stared at me like “okay… how are those related?”

I have myself asking WHAT ARE BRACES CALLED IN ENGLAND?
